It is clear to me that the west is the land of milk and honey for they are the keepers of the Baja Fresh. It is quite possibly the most perfect food there is. Everything is fresh. No cans and no microwaves is there motto. I have been missing it since we left portland.
If only the 314 or the 636 had one.
I just wanted to send out a sincere thanks to everyone who attended my shower and an extra special thanks to my aunt and god mother for throwing it.
We are headed to las vegas. Rest assured that I packed everything I own so if they lose my bags I will have to go shopping… Darn.
So far so good. We made good time to the airport and no lines on security. On the plane a very nice steward announced to the whole flight that we were getting married. We received some heart felt wishes of good luck and congratulations.
We had to stow my dress in the overhead and some man kept slamming the door omit. He better hope it is okay or I will come and find him!
Not a creature was sturring, not even the cats.
That is because the Pooch has been dropped off at Kennelwood and we are packing. Yes, we waited until the night before. It is strange being able to lay something down on the bed without the her laying all over it. The dog I mean.
I’m still sick and may overdose on vitamin C if that is possible.
Swimsuit? Check. Jeans? Check. Suit? Check. Clubbin’ clothes? Check. Laptop? Check.
We’ve decided to take my laptop so we are going to make a concerted effort to “blog it out” while we are there. The Mrs. also has a fancy pancy iPhone.
Lastly, our mad dash to find a ring for me was unsuccessful. We have a $19.99 T.J. Maxx stand in that will have to do until we get a real one from Captivations; “our” jewelry store in Old Towne Saint Charles.

TJ is sick. We are supposed to be getting his ring but we are going to doc n the box instead. I hope he feels better by Wednesday.
I just got off the phone with Enterprise and booked a car for Wednesday. Nichole and I will be heading out of Vegas as soon as we get in. We are thinking of hitting up the Red Rock Canyon or possibly go hang out with the rest of the old folks at the Hoover Dam. If we’re not back by Thursday, call Las Vegas Search and Rescue.
How about a little Vegas music to get us all in the mood. Nothing like going to a blog and trying to figure out where the music is coming from right!?
So I ordered a dress online that I have never even seen in person let alone tried on… I have been waiting patiently for a month for them to sew it and I just found out it will be here in one week. I hope it fits or it is back-up eBay dress for me!
So it turns out you have to register for gifts because sometimes people throw you bridal showers… So we registered at www.target.com and www.bedbathandbeyond.com. We really meant it when we said no gifts, just yourselves… but that doesn’t mean you can’t refer to these lists for Christmas ideas!
TJ really had fun scanning all of the items he wanted and he even temporarily broke the thing… of course he eventually fixed it. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it too. We might be the only couple that hasn’t fought in the history of registering!
I am starting to get excited…
