The Mrs. is ready for a night on the town. The Mr., wearing an egg-stained white t-shirt and frayed cotton shorts, slumps on the couch.
The Mrs. – I’m going out with “the ladies” tonight, do you two have everything you need?
The Mr. – Why, yes we do. Go on. Have yourself a grand time. My good buddy J.D. is coming over.
The Mrs. – Oh how sweet, you two are gonna watch the hit T.V. show Scrubs together.
The Mr. – Yeah, something like that.
Cherry Pie
I made a cherry pie for the 4th (much thanks to TJ for pitting all of the cherries by hand) and, in true TJ fashion, he took a picture of the finished product. This time, however, I posted the picture to the recipe I used on www.allrecipes.com (my secrete weapon). They picked his pic as the main pic to show off the recipe! He will now be my staff food photographer.

So we are down to 22 days. I am getting really excited now. The hardest thing is the unknown. How big will she be? What will she look like? Will everything go smoothly? WHEN will she arrive? And most importantly, will she like us?
