Things you didn’t know you needed…

So I have been looking at various websites looking for things that we may have forgotten or that I just “have” to have…  and in my quest for ecommerce, I have found some pretty amazing products that you didn’t even know you needed for you and your child.  Take for example the Tummy Tub…

Because buckets aren't fancy enough.

and of course the Snacker Catcher…

For the baby who can't get away from their food

the potty that suits the family on the go… or at least the family that is going…

When you gotta go... you gotta go

When you gotta go... you gotta go

Need a night out and don’t have anyone to babysit?

Who needs a baby sitter?

Who needs a baby sitter?

trouble getting used to the sit down potty?  Try the toddler urinal…

Make potty fun!

Trouble getting dad to pitch in?

So dad feels like he is doing more

I honestly have NO idea how this could be beneficial to baby:

Um... yeah....

Um... yeah....

For the woman who fights gravity in her sleep.

and finally a way to make sure your child doesn’t have to master balance… and seriously, this was not marketed for disabilities… it was aimed at your child who is learning to walk…

So if you are going to have a child soon and you invite me to your shower, you just might get one of these amazing products.

Dad’s Plan

OK, so I stole this image from a Facebook contact, but this diagram explains my plan when an unexpected Momma outage occurs.

Act II Scene IV
The Mrs. is ready for a night on the town. The Mr., wearing an egg-stained white t-shirt and frayed cotton shorts, slumps on the couch.

The Mrs. – I’m going out with “the ladies” tonight, do you two have everything you need?

The Mr. – Why, yes we do. Go on. Have yourself a grand time. My good buddy J.D. is coming over.

The Mrs. – Oh how sweet, you two are gonna watch the hit T.V. show Scrubs together.

The Mr. – Yeah, something like that.

He’s My Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie

I made a cherry pie for the 4th (much thanks to TJ for pitting all of the cherries by hand) and, in true TJ fashion, he took a picture of the finished product.  This time, however, I posted the picture to the recipe I used on www.allrecipes.com (my secrete weapon).  They picked his pic as the main pic to show off the recipe!  He will now be my staff food photographer.

His slogan will be similar the Shane Company:

If it doesn’t taste good, I can make it look good.

Safe Baby Handling Tips

Truly awesome book. This is my favorite image. I can’t wait to share coffee time with baby girl. I wonder how she will take it?

Amongst the hilarious images are buried deep down truths. These two people should be friends of ours. Check out their website and feel free to purchase us anything you want.

Countdown..

So we are down to 22 days. I am getting really excited now. The hardest thing is the unknown. How big will she be? What will she look like? Will everything go smoothly? WHEN will she arrive? And most importantly, will she like us?

I know everyone goes through this so I don’t feel so bad ;) .
