We have decided to keep the reception relatively small and invite mostly family. We are estimating 30-40 depending on how many RSVP. We are planning on November 29th so keep the date open. Drinks will be flowing and food will be catered by Sam Boettler, a good friend of mine and chef at The Vine in old town St. Charles. Hey, he said he wanted to. I gave him an easy out and he refused it. Honestly though, my close family who have known Sam for years are excited about this.
Now a note for our friends. Yes… your window opportunity for free booze and food is officially over. Thanks to everyone for playing.
A gift from one of my coworkers.

Since our pocket camera is on the fritz, we didn’t take many photos. For those that came out with us, we would like to get a copy of your photos. A burned cd would work best. Once I get them I will upload them to my flickr account.
For now you will have to put up with our pictures of the desert.
We are at the airport “ready to get out” and return home… And let’s face it, to see Maggie!
Extra special thanks to everyone who came out to Las Vegas with us. We would love to see your pictures of the weekend. Also, we should have our ceremony pics sometime this week and we will post them here.

We are back at Kahunaville. RIP OFF! Drinks are $17 a piece. Unbelievable. Still fun… Good company… Tomorrow we have to return to our 30 something lives… Well not Nick… He is 27.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Pasta Shop with all of our guests. The food was wonderful and the company was too.
The wedding was great and we laughed during the unity candle lighting. My dad came. It was a complete surprise. He doesn’t like to fly and he had me going the whole time. I had no idea he was coming so when I saw him all I could do we cry. I didn’t realize how much that would mean until it happened.

We are sitting with Nick and Layla waiting for a dragon show… Something tells me we are going to be let down. But then again, if Elvis is alive here, maybe dragons are too.

Food was delicious and we got our schnitzel on.

It is clear to me that the west is the land of milk and honey for they are the keepers of the Baja Fresh. It is quite possibly the most perfect food there is. Everything is fresh. No cans and no microwaves is there motto. I have been missing it since we left portland.
If only the 314 or the 636 had one.
